Unit G Question 6: Finding hole plots

Question:How do we find the appropriate place to plot a hole if the y-value is undefined when plugged into the original equation? To find this, we must plug in the hole into the simplified equation and solve it out. This becomes the y part of the point. If the original equation does not give you a number for the hole plot, always try the simplified equation because it could be a mere matter of order that gives you a different answer
